Copenhagen 16/12 2019. 33 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Yellow version of Møn Bryghus’ usual design with a little pictogram of Møns Klint.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a light brown head. A lot of sediments floating around. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, sweet and on the verge of being sugary with some dark bitter chocolate for balance. Brown sugar, honey, syrup. Dark chocolate and hints of coffee.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet but with a rather strong bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Quite easy on the honey and with enough flavor to cover for the ABV. Good one from Møn.

330 ml bottle, from Fru Hansens Gårdbutik, near Randers. ABV is 8.5%. Very dark ruby colour, nearly black. Large tan head. Distinct sweetish aroma of malts, bakery, caramel and honey. Fairly sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, slightly bitter finish.
