Refound trip notes, ex: 2015!
L- Ruby brown, 1cm+ head, quickly to lacing.
S- Slight malty nose.
T- Crisp, some malt.
F- Light, some richness, light carbonation.
O- Maltyish, comes over as light for 6.8%. Nice but the carbonation here seems well hidden (shame).

Gessner Dunkler Bock has a thick, cream-colored head and a clear, brown appearance, with some lacing. The aroma is of rich brown bread crust. The flavor is of that, with a touch of grassy bitterness and lots of sweetness. Gessner Dunkler Bock has a medium body and a mostly-dry finish.

A: Pour is Dunkel (dark); clear dark copper with a compact tall off-white head. Rich lacings.
S: Sweet bready malt; dark dried fruits. But also bitter hops; nettles and hay. Some smoked meat is also noticable.
T: Sweet, very sweet. Rich maltyness! Dark dried fruits galore. Still some bitter hops. Nettles.
M: Sweet aftertaste, short though. Body is full while carbonation is low.
O: Maybe there should be a style called Dunkel Bock - this could be the origin.

a very typical bock; typical in the sense that its german correct without any surprises. toasty almond malt. not particularly robust as it should be. ordinary body. nice balance of nuggat, almond, toasted malt, mild sour smokiness. smokey know in the beginning that dissipates quickly but is replaced with the hallmark bock toast odor.

A dark brown beer with a very thin head, which consists only of a few white bubbles on the side of the glass. And very clear.
Smell is strong malty with a chocolaty roast and a nice deep woody smell.
Taste is roasted with chocolate malt notes. Quite a bitter roasted taste, which combines wonderfully well with the sweetness. Yeast profile is clean, and maybe shows some earthy tastes. Body is quite thin for a bock and the beer is sweet on the lips. Solid German beer.
