RB
22oz picked up today at Brewer's Haven Boise for about $4.50... Poured tonight into a standard tulip... 1" white head has good resiliency and leaves good spotty lacing. The brew is almost perfectly clear golden. Thick cookie maltiness that needs a more hops and bitterness to balance better.. a bit too much sulfur that never seems to dissipate. Body is a little thick for the style... carbonation seems fine. Okay drinkability, just needs to be dialed in.

Can from the Brew Shop in Bend. Nice thick and chewy bohemian pilsner, lots of suspended articles in this deep golden brew. Initial abundant airy head fades, but lasts to the bottom. Aroma and taste of malt first most, hay, grass, light hops. Slight hops tanginess on the finish.

Served from a tallboy can into a pilsner glass
A- Poured a clear light golden color with massive fluffy white head that left tons of webbed lacing.
S- Big bready malt, some floral sweetness, lemon, and spicy notes with mild bitterness on the finish.
T- Big pilsner malt and bready notes, pretty big grapelike and lemon fruity notes, some spicy notes, and light grassy hop notes.
M- High carbonation, smooth, lighter to medium body, and mostly dry.
O- A very enjoyable and balances pilsner. It leans a little on the sweeter side than hoppy side with lots of nice pilsner malt flavor.

From a 16 ounce can. Pours hazy gold with a small white head. A few clumps of lacing.
Smell is apple peels, some cracker malts.
Taste is bitter euro hops with a big hit of sweet malts. Might be a touch of corn in the sweetness.
Mouthfeel is pretty full for the style, plenty of carbonation and has a light bitter finish.
Overall a good attempt at the Czech Pilsener. Easy drinking refreshing beer. No brewed date but it is in a can. My advice bump up the hops a bit or back off on the sweetness.

very nice, eastern-european style lager. to me eastern euro lager means lager with some flavor and this has it. In fact its a bit different from other east europe lagers Ive had. It has a little sour or dirty flavor and smell. Dirty not like a dirt smell but more like a vinegar smell, in a good way. Almost hinting on a belgian flair of flavor. Over all, very good, drinkable, light, crisp, flavorful beer.
Also beautiful color and haziness. About as nice as it gets with a lager beer
