Look is amazing, smell is of bourbon and esters. Smells sweet. Initial taste is of very sweet bourbon. Very delicious and very pleasant to drink. Goes down easy.

Dark golden brown with plenty of foam in the snifter. Lovely nose of booze and brown sugar. Rich but not overly sweet. Fabulous Bourbon taste from the first sip. Buttery and a burnt sugar flavor.
The Belgian yeast gives this a dry finish but not an excess of yeasty flavor. More mellow than the usual sweet 'n' sourish Brand Cru. Super drinkable and hugely fragrant. It puts a whole new spin on the Bourbon barrel aging idea. On tap at The Brew Project on Fifth Ave in Hillcrest.
