bit too much burn - at least more than I expected -- even after I kept it for another year+ before opening - bought in late 2018. Overall a satisfactory BA Imperial Stout. Coffee, cocoa, and bourbon. Now retired? Interesting. Probably not worth the effort for them.

look is darkness
smell is bourbon coffee
taste is extremely coffee forward just like regular zumbar but not as sweet. there is noticeable hints on tart figs
feel is pretty good. not as thick and sludgy as BCBS.
this is sort of like big bad baptist but with more flavor.

Great beer. The coffee and bourbon are very balanced. There is a bit of bitter coffee aftertaste that I wasn't crazy about, but was still very very solid. I would buy this in a bottle.
