On cask and the brewery's tasting room.
Pours black with a rich brown head.
Flavor hits with a toasty bitterness upfront, followed by complex concoction of coffee, vanilla, licorice, roasted barley, and plenty of alcohol. Feels creamy on the palate, with a little tartness.
The sweetness and bitterness are both present in equal amounts simultaneously, but then bitterness overpowers the other flavors.
