Sampling a cold 22 oz bottle poured into a snifter. The beer pours a slightly cloudy gold color with a fizzy bleached white head foaming up about 2 cm. The head fades very rapidly to nothing soon after the pour.
Aroma is some bready yeast and a bit of lemon and maybe mild cloves. the nose is pretty mild overall and not terribly interesting, but not offensive either.
First sip reveals an average to light body with a crisp texture and fine yet tingly carbonation.
Flavor is some bready yeast and a bit of banana, but otherwise the flavor profile is mild too.
Nothing offensive about this beer, but it certainly isnt amazing either. Glad to have had the opportunity but I will look elsewhere for a better hefe in the future.

The brewery advertises this as a banana and clove heavy beer, as is tradition with the style, but I could barely detect either. Hazy? Yes. Clean? Relatively, but could definitely do better. Subpar all around.

This beer has a rich gold color that looks like it has an orange tint to it. The head dissipated quickly and left only a hint of lacing. I may have not poured this as aggressively as I should have. It smells yeasty and fresh with some banana and spices like clove. The taste is of hay, cloves, bananas and bready yeast. It has a decent carbonation and a nice little bitter hops finish at the end which gives way to a slightly tangy mouthwatering sensation. This is a really nice hefeweizen that is easy to drink on a nice warm summer day.
