Andrée de Jongh was a 24-year-old nurse in 1940 Belgium when she took on the Nazis and formed "The Comet Line", a route of safe houses from Belgium, through France, to Spain, in order to help downed Allied Airmen. The plan rescued over 700 men and was the most successful escape route of WWII. "We had to fight." she said.
Please enjoy this beer, brewed in 2017 for our 2018 birthday, at about 50° to open up notes of caramel, rum-soaked banana bread, and warm spice.
