The beer you hold was brewed in that town by it’s fine people, in a small batch with the finest ingredients. We are Potosi. We are beer’s hometown. Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Relatively strong aromas of pale malts, light honey and biscuit malt, some faint earthy notes. Follows with a light lemon citrus. Smooth, yet complex.
Flavor: Moderate flavors of pale malts, light biscuit malt, smooth bread. Lightly floral and citrus. A smooth, pale malt, slightly sweet finish.
Feel: Medium-bodied, Strong carbonation and finishes dry. (4.25)
Compared to 56 Brewing Dad's Basement Beer 9/10/22: Pours a lighter color. Stronger aromas. More cracker, floral, citrus. Less smooth honey and bread malt. Slightly lighter and dryer. Overall, pretty similar.
Overall: A very nice American lager here. Nice aromas that have complexity of lemon citrus, honey, biscuit malt. Hints of floral tones. The flavor is pretty average. A full mouthfeel, strong carbonation, and dry body. Overall, very nice stuff here. Very well-rounded and done nicely for a session lager. (Rating: 4.09)
