12 oz can, split with my wife, poured into a teku glass. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown with a small fizzy head. Aroma and flavor feature dark roasted malt, a hint of nuttiness, and chocolate. Not as sweet as I expected, and the pecans/chocolate/caramel flavors don't come through as much as I was hoping. Overall it's an okay beer, but not as advertised.

Aroma is very nutty pecans, chocolate and almost a big hint of cinnamon. The flavor is fruit, malts/dark malts and a slight cinnamon/big pecan pie finish.

Pours black with a last minute dark brown bubbly, one finger head of foam. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and butter toffee. Taste is on the light side, but immediately chocolate and caramel, a hint of vanilla and toffee again. The chocolate shines the brightest here. This comes off as a fair approximation of the sugary sweet.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a tulip. Caramel, chocolate, pecans, toffee, roast. Sweet, but not nearly as cloying as many pastry stouts I’ve had. Medium-bodied.

One of the better Potosi beers I've had. A decent pastry Stout with plenty of chocolate. Minimal head, but a nice chocolatey aroma, which carries over into the taste. Some roast, but chocolate is the clear winner here. A tad sweet, but it is a pastry stout.
