An amber lager, probably a Schnitt (i. e. mixture of pale and dark beers, typical for Austrian and some Czech breweries). Color red-copper, very nice. Medium carbonation, big head, proper lace.
Smell malty with roasty notes and a light touch of smoke. Suitable for 'miners' beer' as the brewery advertizes it.
Taste disappointing - malty at the start, then rather sour with a faint hoppy finish. Body rather thin, mouthfeel watery. Pleasant aftertaste, though.
Probably worth a try.
