This is Ölvisholts seasonal offering for Þorri. Brewed in march 2008, released end of January (beginning of the month of Þorri) 2009. Spiced with angelica seeds and meadowsweet.
A - Hazy golden with thick white head.
Sm - Nice interplay of spice and herbs, slightly grassy as well.
T - Starts with a nice malt sweetness. Spritzy carbonation tingles the palate leaving a heavy herbal bitterness that coats the mouth and lingers for a long time.
M - Medium-full body and refreshing carbonation.
D - Surely an interesting beer. The traditional Icelandic brewing herbs really get to shine and show their worth!
