Pours a deep amber, orange coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of light biscuity malt with strong hoppy notes of tangerine, melon, peach and a hint of red berries, with a light grassy note as well. Taste is quite hoppy, but nicely balanced by some biscuity malts. Notes of tangerine, melon, peach and red berries, most notciably elderberry, with an underlying grassiness and a light graininess as well. Finishes with a light bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Quite an unusual and somewhat complex flavour profile for a Pale Ale, but with a good balance that works quite well.
