A: Appearance is cloudy, orangish yellow color with relatively light, off-white head.
S: Aroma is metallic with traces of wheat and citrus.
T: Taste is very heavy on the bright citrus with some slight notes of fruit and wheat.
M: Palate is light- to medium-bodied, somewhat thin texture, flat carbonation, and a bright finish.
O: This is pretty much your run-of-the-mill Weizen minus some of the styles more distinguishing characteristics.

.5L, best by July 2011. An organic Weizenbier.
Pours a glowing, cloudy golden-orange with a nice pillowy head. Lacing is impressive on the way down.
Nice nose of light banana and fragrant spice, with some good bubblegum action.
Lightly sweet, with a bready, wheaty base. Lots of spice to this Hefeweizen, with notes of clove, mint and rosemary, plus a dash of ripe fruit. Some plastic-like yeastiness. My only problem is that this beer tastes slightly watered-down. There is a nice tart component though, something which many breweries seem to avoid with their Hefeweizens. The mouthfeel has the requisite carbonation, but lacks creaminess. Bit thin overall.
An interesting Weizen, and something I'd have again if I found myself at the Köln brewpub.
