A new offering from William Bull Brewery.
This pours a nice amber red colour with a thin but tight off-white head. Okay head retention.
Light spicy noble hop aromas are in the forefront with caramel and fruity esters working their way into the mix. Smells Tasty.
The hop character present in the aroma doesn't come through as strongly in the flavour. Caramel and butterscotch are the dominant flavours here with fruity esters supporting the flavours here. It isn't unbalanced though with a solid hop bitterness just lingering in the background.
A medium body with smooth, just below average carbonation works well to create a creamy texture.
A solid beer to go alongside Red Angus Pilsener. Tasty and easy enough to drink.
