On tap at Ashley's.Poured into a nonic a hazed amber/brown with a very thin white head that was gone pretty quickly.Malt driven aromas but also pretty dry, grainy with some nuttiness with only mild caramel notes.Grainy flavors with some real toasty malt notes coming thru,a decent shot of piney hops linger in the finish.A different kind of amber with it's dryness, pretty good.

Was served in a 20oz nonic.

A: Is a copper-amber coolor with a 1/2 inch off white head with good amounts of lacing

S: Smells of wheat, barley, malts, grains, spices, hops

T: Very smooth and sweet with a bitter hop kick in the ass at the finish. Flavor profile consists of wheat, grains, malts, yeast, spices, hops

M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation, good hop kick at the finish

O: Overall it was pretty good, the hoppiness caught me by surprise, to me red ales were fairly mellow and had no kick, a good brew to try.

Poured hazy brown color with an average white fizzy head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy small earthy hop and roasted caramel malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted sweet malt flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded.

A-Hazed, deep copper with a thin light tan head that reduced to a veil and left spotty lace.

S-Hefty roasted malt with a bit of spicy hops in the background.

T-Bold, roasted malt up front with an underlying sweet caramel character and a nice backing, spicy citrus, hop support.

M-Medium body with deep roast and impressive lingering bitterness. Fairly complex for such a simple brew.

D-Another fine drinkable brew from OG. The roasted aspect really grew on me as did the spicy citrus rind hops becoming stronger as it warmed. Bravo!
