Aroma:Sweet caramel and dark fruits. A little Belgian character.

Appearance:Black, with low amount of head.

Taste:Dark fruits on the foretaste, quickly leading into a sour oak or wine barrel flavor in the midtaste. It's not supposed to be barrel aged, so if it's from an infection, the brewery really lucked out.

Mouthfeel:Medium body with low carbonation. A little tangy.

Overall:A solid belgian strong dark, with a good bit of complexity.
