This is is the jewel in the Tuscan crown for the beers my father brought back from Tuscany. Dark brown with a feathy head that diminished pretty quickly. The nose is straight Belgian Double with all the old fruit and considered yeasty esters. The taste is a first class Double with finish to spare. This is a first class beer and sadly almost impossible to get.
