Very good IPA, if you like DIPA's that are lower on the IBU's. Not overly hopped and smooth flavor and smell.

Had it in a 12 oz. pour large snifter glass. Light golden hue with little white head that doesn't last. The nose is of grassy hops and sweet malt. The taste is sweet and fruity, maybe a hint of rose. There is definitely alcohol in there and it becomes sweeter as it warms. A solid DIPA that I would get again.

I have been underwhelmed with Cask and Larder's beers over the past few years. However, they have stepped up their game with this one. It is now on par with the terrific food!
Look (4.25/5) - pours a clear deep amber with a slight red tint. Minimal head.
Smell (5/5) - it was love when I smelled this brew. Lovely hop aroma with hints of citrus and evergreen. Up there with the best!
Taste (4.5/5) - minimally alcoholic taste for the 10.2 ABV. Strong piney hop presence with nice malty caramelly balance. Nice bitter balance.
Feel (4.5/5) - little to no alcoholic warmness allowing the ABV to sneak up on you.
Overall (4.5/5) - overall this a well balanced Imperial IPA with top notch aroma. In my opinion it is one of the best in the state. Better than 10-10-10, jai lai, and big nose...in my humble opinion.
