On-tap at Bootlegger's,
A: Pours red with a real light head.
S: Cherries of course with some maple and wood.
T: Funky cherries, lots of flavourful acetic type acid, more of a Flemish Red play here.
M: Great acidic character, full in the mouth, light carbonation.
D: This was very tasty. Sometimes cherries can hide behind the acid, but the fruit really came out in this one.

On-tap at Bootlegger's
A: The pour is a slightly cloudy amber color with a creamy off-white head.
S: The cherries are front and center in the nose. They provide a bit of sweetness and the fruit skins give that tannic note to the beer. Just a light tartness to let you know this is a sour beer.
T: The tartness is more pronounced than the nose would lead you to believe, but still not overly sour. The cherries provide a mix of fleshy, fruity sweetness as well as some skin character.
M: The body is right in the middle of medium with a moderate, tingly carbonation and a slightly dry finish.
D: A pretty nice sour from Bootlegger's, though I think I prefer Cherry Chernobyl for my cherry fix from Bootlegger's.
