On-tap at Bootlegger's
A: A slightly murky red-brown color with a fluffy off-white head on top.
S: A heavily malty beer, as you might expect. There is a fair bit of toasty malt, which I don't expect from a quad, there was also a lack of fruitiness.
T: Some lightly roasted and toasted malts, a bit of caramel sweetness as well. The fruit quality is more in the way of yeast esters (ie. banana) and a hint of spiciness. None of the usual dark fruits.
M: A medium body, perhaps on the full side, with a full carbonation.
D: An easy to drink beer, but not really what I think of when I hear Quadrupel.
