On-tap at 3rd Anniversary Party. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a hazy golden amber with a faint white head.

S: Nose is pleasantly funky, mild barnyard with notes of hay and grass.

T: More yeasty than the nose with some light fruitiness. Somewhat crisp on the finish.

M: Moderate carb and body.

O: Apparently brewed again. Passing through, not much to see here. Needs a bit more Brett punch.

A: The pour is a very cloudy golden color with some hints of orange. The keg has a slight problem with it, so very overcarbonated with a huge white head.

S: The nose is wonderfully funky with some notes of straw, green apple, pears, and pineapple (Brett C, perhaps?).

T: The flavor does not exhibit quite as much Brett as the nose does. That said, this is quite similar to regular Golden Chaos with a touch of some green apple and slight tartness. Also some citrus, pears, and pineapple.

M: The body is medium with a high carbonation. Despite the extreme overcarbonation on the beer itself has a respectable amount of bubbles on the tongue.

D: This was quite nice indeed. Aaron said they only made one keg of this beer this time around but will more than likely do it again.

On-tap at Bootlegger's, a special pull thanks to Aaron,

A: Pours a frothy gold to light amber with a big creamy white head. Lots of lace, a bit messy.

S: Frankly, cold and out of the tap, it smells like a fart, methane heavy. But as it warms, a great pineapple fruity note comes out, kind of the two-face of beer noses.

T: As with the nose a beer that really changes with temperature. Cooler, very Bretty barnyard, shades of Avery 15 with a bit more hops. Warmer the hops come out a lot more and that great pineapple flavour comes to the forefont, very tasty.

M: A bit tart, frothy and creamy, a lot of carbonation, but a mild carbonation feel. Medium-bodied.

D: A pretty cool beer. Very rustic, handmade flavours, I liked seeing this beer in a different light.
