On-tap at Bootlegger's
A: The beer pours a very pale and very cloudy straw color with a white head.
S: I definitely get the wheat out of it, but that's about where it stops resembling a witbier. A mild spice, but not really any coriander notes to it. Maybe ginger? Not all that sweet or bready, either.
T: Quite citrusy for a witbier. Lemon zest and perhaps orange peel, too. The wheat is again present, but not a dominant flavor. I seem to pick up ginger again. Floral hops and cracker malts are also there and this beer is really very dry.
M: The body is fairly light with a pretty high level of carbonation and a bone dry finish.
D: As a beer this wasn't bad, but as a witbier it really missed the mark. Pretty easy to drink, though.

Sampled 1/29 at the brewery. One of the 10 pilot batches that are going on in the next few days.
Pours clear light yellow with some mild haze, tall white head, good lacing, and low retention.
Aroma is wheat, citrus, flowers, something spicy, and a touch of sugar.
Flavor is citrus, wheat, black pepper (maybe) and oddly a bit of bologna. Medium bitterness.
Body is light/medium and drinkability is strongly present.

On-tap at Bootlegger's, another spring beer in January,
A: Pours a hazy yellow with a mild white head, solid retention, light lace.
S: Lemon zest, some orange, pasta. Not too fragrant but enjoyable.
T: Lemon flavour dominates, some coriander spice was nice. Well balanced, nice flavour, but innocuous.
M: Light-bodied, crisp carbonation, creamy, refreshing, thin at times.
D: Nice little wit, not wowing, but a good effort.
