Pours a clear yellow amber with plenty of long-lasting foam in the Duvel nonic. Aroma is different, with a musty, nutty smell like some kind of English concoction. Flavor is malty but not sweet, and the nutty note continues with grain and rice. Some fruity flavors of lime, blueberry, and a hint of pineapple. This is an unusual set of flavors, but quite interesting and certainly drinkable. The woody and musty tang makes you want another sip to try and figure it out. From the crowler can filled at the Costa Mesa tasting room and brewed there.
