Bottle pour at mrbubbler's tasting.
Pours a clear brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, brown sugar, cinnamon, and other Christmas spice aromas. Taste is much the same with malt and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a solid spice presence for the style.

22 oz. bomber,
A: Pours a dark brown with a medium light tan head. Fair head retention, light spotty lace.
S: Honey, orange peel, gingerbread, Christmas cookies, Christmas spice, clove.
T: Good malt flavour, though not as big as I would have hoped. Real nice citrus zest mixed with the Christmas spice. Noticable honey in the finish.
M: Medium-bodied, frothy carbonation, nice long aftertaste for the style.
O: A good Christmas beer, I don't know why it showed up in bombers now, a taste of the holiday season a month late.
