On tap at the Bootlegger's 5th Anniversary Celebration held at The Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton, CA.
Billed as a sour ale (# 2) aged in wine barrels.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with fruit, vinegar, and oak aromas. Taste is much the same with fruit and vinegar flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with some super sour flavors.
