An English style ale with a nice malty backbone. We use English Fuggles and East Kent Golding hops to create a beautiful balance making it a great all around, anytime drinkable ale

Clear amber with a fine, even head. Sweet caramel nose. Lighter malt body, fairly watery. A basic light-weight amber ale.

Can: Poured a deep amber color ale with an off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt with some cereal notes also noticeable. Taste is a good mix of cereal with some dry caramelized malt and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very well brewed and highly drinkable.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Clear but slightly hazy copper body topped by a good if bubbly head.
The aroma seems a bit of but the moderately hoppy flavor is better. Earthy English(?) hops. Medium, light carbonation. Moderately bitter.

My Dad, who usually drinks Keith's, said this beer, of the four we tried, was the most like what he's used to drinking. Well, that's not exactly a selling point. I don't think it was as bad as what he said suggests, but I'm surprised that this is their award-winning beer. It's not bad, it's just fairly mild and not anything I could get excited about. Grassy hops, some caramel malt sweetness. Light/medium body.

22 oz bottle, thanks to Bobbyok for sending my way.
Pours a clear reddish amber, thick off white head forms, tons of chunky lace sticks to the glass, settles to a thick ring and layer, a little light on colour but looks good. Smell is okay, caramel and iron, lightly fruity, some orange peel and citrus, light toast, not a whole lot going on. Taste is similar, just weak, a little malty, caramel sweetness, some fruit, a bit plasticy, dry malty bread finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Drinkable but not very exciting. Thanks Bobby!

Poured a deep dark ruby with next to no head. A slight sweetness to the scent, almost berry like. The taste does have a range of sweetness, with a touch of bitterness competing for attention. Very smooth, maybe a little bit watery, with no perceptible carbonation. I find it similar to the Planters Pale Ale, which is somewhat odd given the difference in styles. An interesting taste overall, and definitely drinkable.
