Had on tap in a snifter.
A - Poured a jet black, thin, tan head.
S - Deep, velvety dark chocolate malt, bourbon, and dried cherries.
T - Very heavy, multi-faceted chocolatey tones. Also has a grainy, oaty crunchiness. Incredibly sweet with almost no sign of hops. Cherries take on a subtle, yet profound role, almost slipping into the whirlpool of malts with its subtle, earthy sweetness. Booze elevates the malt taste.
M - Very thick and syrupy. Endless residual sweetness.
O - Very solid stout, utilizes cherries better than any non-sour beer I've ever had.
