my reviews for this are from a couple of weeks ago. has a very smooth roasted character, very drinkable, flavorful enough to be a big porter, but stays just shy of that which helps the drinkability. unusual for a porter since the hops are actually noticable with chocolate notes. the blend of northwest hops actually blends pretty well which i wouldn't have expected.
very tasty all around.
good one to pick up while around, since everything right now is a 'one-time' untill demand goes more

Had on-tap today. Dark brown with faint light coming through to reveal some ruby highlights. A light tan head sits on top leaving good lace. Mild carbonation raises American citrus hop aroma to the nose. Malty with a fair bit of chocolate. Just enough bitterness to even out the malt. The hops don't dominate the malt in either the taste but they do come through. Very drinkable!
