Tried on tap at Crown, 27 Sep 2011. Served in a shaker pint glass. Billed as a hoppy American wheat ale.
Medium sized creamy light beige head. Minimally carbonated. Clear light brown in color. Aroma is oddly of blueberries, making me wonder if there was some mixup at the bar. Some pine is also present, faintly. The blueberry aroma fades as I drink. A second glass doesnt have any blueberry in it. Starts with a slight bit of yeastiness that quickly changes to a nice bitter hit of hoppiness. Touch of grapefruit pithiness. Yeasty bitter finish and aftertaste. Medium body. Light alcohol.
