"This prestige batch of a pale Belgian style ale carries supple raisin and citric notes whilst the body is soft and affords more yeast and hop derived fruit notes."

A: light leather colored pour lacking in shine with white head that falls quickly
S: floral, citrus and coriander
T: Australian hops with some exotic fruit but very citrus, more sweet then usual pale ale but a nice spice and strong malt.
M: medium body, high carbonation, light yeast feel with fresh dry finish
O: not a traditional Belgian pale but good in its own right. Drinkable dryness as long as it is kept cold. Too sweet for me and doesn't match its finish with its intention.

This pours a honey golden colour with a brilliant white head and a persistent carbonation of fine bubble. Good lacing.

Sweet candy sugar first up on the nose. Some yeast spiciness. A touch of lemony citrus.

Citrus dominates the palate for me. Very pleasant in a refreshing kinda way. Very lemony. Pepperiness as well and a bit of sweetness.

Medium bodied and highly carbonated.

Not a great fan of this style but I really like this one. The best beer that I've tasted from these guys so far.

Fruity and spicy aroma with notes of raisin, pepper and restrained citrus. A light sweet malt profile there too. Nice.

Moderately hazy, gold colour. Small, tight white head. Head retention could be improved.

Really nice flavour here with lots of peppery spice and a light fruitiness. A prominent bitterness is nice but is not teamed with hop flavour. To me the flavour profile teamed with the dryness is close to a saison but also very suitable for the style.

Medium-light body with moderately high carbonation. Crisp, dry and smooth. Very good.

An eminently drinkable brew. A sample I tried was skunked but this bottle is excellent and I am yet again impressed by this solid Queensland brewery.

I'll start with saying I've had this beer a couple of times before on tap and this doesn't quite seem to be stacking up to how I remember it. Anyhoo, it looks great. Vibrant hazy orange with a solid creamy head. The nose is really distracting me with aromas that take me back to my childhood....talking about curly wurlies. That chewy caramel vibe is jumping out of the glass. It's also quite chewy on the palate with some serious caramel malt kicking in. Feel like I'm going to need a tooth pick. Some other slight citrussy flavours going on but the caramel is winning. It's still good but I'm distracted by it not tasting how I remember.
