Its the beer BCB makes. The coffee stout. I am sure he come up with a clever name for it soon, he say's with a laugh.
A: very dark black color you cannot see through it even in bright light the poured it at 45 degrees to the top so there was no head at all
S: dark chocolate, some hop bitterness, lots of coffee, no malt detected.
T: little to no malt backbone, no hops, but its a stout so that normal. Big on the coffee its basically overpowers and does not really blend well or complement this beer. some chocolate detected.
m: its fairly thick, with medium body, big time coffee after taste
D: I had 2 of them there not bad, but its not my favor coffee stout by a long shot, and i love coffee stouts/porters this one is a average run of mill attempt.
this is the newest beer, still think he is aiming for the bud crowd and not the craft beer crowd. But that just my opinion. Trying to be constructive, but its funny all his beers have this strange twang to them its like the tanks are not clean or something weird.
