Portion of a 22 oz bottle poured into a Hunahpu's snifter. From notes.
A: Pours a dark brown color. The head is a one finger white shade.
S: Really strong black coffee dominates the nose,
T: Huge black coffee to start (seemingly a bit stale), with an underlying chocolate finish that clashes with the coffee qualities. Despite my reservations about the coffee seeming a bit old, the coffee profile itself is solid - the rest of the brew just can't keep up.
M: Too thin, and too 'rough' on the palate given its relative finishing sweetness. A bit hard to imbibe.
O: Plain and simple, this is a coffee brew searching for a proper stout base to hold it up properly.

Looks the part. Pours a dark black, thick looking liquid. The head is offwhite, a finger thick, but lacks much retention. After a minute you're left with a creamy top.
Pretty basic, roasted malts and coffee, but still good nonetheless.
Taste mimics the nose...all roasted malts and coffee. Very smokey, roasty taste. The coffee lingers well into the swallow.
It's creamy, but a bit thin and watery feeling. A slight sweetness leads me to believe there might be some chocolate in it. Medium bodied despite the dark color. No real hop presence, but some bitterness from the coffee in the finish.
It's a pretty good beer, just not great. A bit too thin for my liking, but has a strong, yet manageable coffee taste.

Thanks to brendan4532 for this one! Looked all over and couldn't find the ABV.
Pours a dark brown with off white head that fades quickly.
The smell is the best part of this brew, it's simply amazing. I pick up a nutty chocolate with light roasted coffee.
The coffee comes through on the taste for sure but it lets the malt shine a bit as well. There is coffee bitterness on the back.
Very easy drinking and drinking great right now. I don't think it would be as all around great with a couple months and once the coffee fades so drink up now!

A - Pours with just half a finger of medium tan foam on top of an opaque, black body. The head settles fairly quickly but leaves good lace.
S - A nice aroma of espresso with a smoky note as well as a bit of dark chocolate.
T - Sweet malt up front with dark sugar notes of caramel and molasses. Some smoky notes of coffee in the middle with a little bit of dark cherry. Finishes with more caramel and brown sugar as well as a lingering coffee note.
M - Medium-thick body, moderately low carbonation, and a sweet finish.
D - The aroma is excellent with a great coffee note that blends well with the malt. The flavor isn't nearly as well put together, with an emphasis on dark sugar rather than roast character and the coffee is much weaker as well. It isn't unpleasant, but it is a bit of a disappointment when compared to the aroma. As it stands, it is a decent beer but if it was a bit roastier and dryer it could have been great.

A: single finger tan head, little retention on a dark dark brown body.
S: rich coffee aroma but actually little house.
T: strong coffee with a very nice sweet milk chocolate and whipped cream flavor.
M: medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: highly drinkable as coffee stouts go. Very sweet to off set the bitterness. One of their better beers.
