Pours a dark brown color. A lighter amber color is present near the bottom of the glass. One inch head of a pale tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, flowers, slight hop, slight citrus, and yeast. Fits the style of an American Brown Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. The mouth feel is slightly watery. Tastes of sweet malt, yeast, slightly flowery, slight citrus, and slight dry hop. Overall, a little lacking in body, but nice blend.

Another one now on tap at MBC, the big brown came, well, a deep and opaque brown with a frothy tan head.
Malty and rich in the aroma, the quaff adds a surprising touch of dark chocolate balanced well in the finish via a sturdy supply of hop. This one is sure to be a crowd pleaser, from the beer newbies to the cagey veterans. I would have no problem spending an evening with this brown bombshell.
All three (more to come) MBC brews are solid and tasty.
