Pours a clear, amber color. One inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, tart malt, yeast, slight hop, and slight citrus. Fits the style of a Dubbel. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp with an average carbonation level. The mouth feel is also somewhat watery. Tastes of yeast, slight tart malt, some dry hop, and slight citrus. Overall, the body is on the weak side.

Had this on tap as part of a flight of MBC brews and got a growler to take home and session. Poured into tulip after allowing it to warm just slightly- left a deep, dark amber with a nicely laced head and quite honestly a very nice appearance that lasted quite a long time.

Nose was sweet (just short of floral), malt, very light on the yeast and pleasing overall.

Taste was again sweet, malt, very smooth, just the slightest hint of yeast and alcohol but comes much later.

Overall quite drinkable and happy to have more at home for tomorrow as well!

A fine pour of clear amber mahogany comes in the shaker pint glass, with a foamy topping of egg shell that laces all the way down.

Light aroma of spicy malts, and the famous Belgium yeast also makes its presence known. The quaff is pure dubbel, with the yeasts entertaining the caramel and malt in an enticing taste dance.

Light bodied, clean and crisp finish blends with the smooth malty start. Weighs in at 7%, but there is no hint of the bigger alcohol. This is a very fine beer.
