poured MURKY as hell. this was the most murky DIPA i have ever had. there was even hop flakes mixed in. very light to little head, no retention.
smell was very citrus, sweet, light floral notes. think sweet red grapefruit.
taste was actually subtle up front but became quite bitter through the finish. after my 2nd glass, my throat and gums were numb. i do not recall distinct malt flavors. thats what extreme hops can do.
very light and smooth. little to no carbonation really.
this was VERY easy to drink, very smooth. i was done with my 2nd glass in 30 minutes. the only thing holding it back was the fact i had such a bitter and numb flavor in my throat and mouth, that there was no way i was drinking a 3rd. and that is just perfect!
