This American Barley Wine is the Iron Rail on steroids. High quality Pale malt, German Melanoidin & 40% Crystal. Pacific Jade, German N. Brewer, Fuggle & Centennial Hops. With twice as many hops as the Iron Rail, it clocks in at about 100 IBUs! Malty Sweet with Bitterness to match!

Had on tap. Orangey brown with an off-white head. Smell and taste are the same: it is an old school barleywine that is unafraid of the potent barley snarl, pale piney hops, slight citrus, and earth atop a toast and burnt caramel base. Feel is big bodied, dry, yet refined on the palate with a bittering finish
