Glad to have a chance to finally try a bunch of new brews from Wedge. Pretty much cleaned the taps out over the last week there.
Not a super fan of this one. Served in a small glass the pour is a light brown that you can easily see right through. Small head drops off quickly and leaves nothing in its wake, surprising given the performance of their beers in the past. Aroma is muted bready malts, a touch of almost musky, wet cardboard like aroma and a deep sweetness that seems to take it too far. Each sip is about the ame with flavor that just do not seem to mash up well with each other. Not terrible, just really not working for me. Sweet on the finish with a little thin, undercarbonated feel.
Overall I was totally underwhelmed with this one, hopefully it will get done better with the next batch.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
