I was served this English IPA on tap, in a pint glass at the brewery. Poured a hazy copper color and it produced a thin white head that has very poor head retention. There was however a nice amount of lacing left behind. The aroma of the IPA left a lot to be desired....there was a very small trace of hops, only mildly piney, most of the aroma was produced by the malt. The IPA itself was very thin and watery. Not near enough malt base, and the amount of hops used was very disappointing. Medium in body, easy to drink...The taste was mostly a mild malt and only slight piney hop taste. One of the worst attempts at an IPA I have come across. If your going to brew an IPA...Don't play it safe.
