I'm with Kevin (kscaldef) on this. Have had the regular Matt many times, and have always been impressed by the myriad of flavors one gets, both on the nose and palate. In this case, it was hard to pick up much of the base beer, as the aroma and flavor of bourbon was so pronounced. Still a solid beer, but I would always take regular Matt every time over this version.

Lots of bourbon. Regular Matt feels a bit more balanced to me.
