Pours a cloudy, mahogany color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of cherry, sweet malt, hint of hop, and a caramel malt. Fits the style of a Maibock / Helles Bock. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with a low carbonation level. There is also a tartness. Tastes of fresh cherry, slight bacterial funk, sweet malt, hint of hop, hint of caramel malt, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, but good body and blend.

This has a big cherry aroma to it, very sweet yet tart. Sticks the landing with an odd finish. A mixed bag, unfortunately. I was hoping for something more here.

From what I've heard, the first batch was no bueno. This batch, however, was interesting and quite tastey. Definitely big mineral drive to it; calcium and the kind of slate flavors that add an austerity to many white wines. The cherry on top of that is moved from sweetness to somethng more fundamental; what is a dry cherry?

Really interesting and pretty tasty. With the reduced abv and low level of sweetness, paired well with food at the brewery.

On draft at brewery, cloudy reddish in color with effervescent bubbles that tickle your tongue. Taste is tart cherries with a hit of cherry pits and oak. A nice change up from the breweries super charged olds ales.

Tap at the brew pub.

Foamy whispy head, nice lacing, purple reddish murky color.

Nose sweet candy, caramel toffee malts, wheat, candied wheat and cherries, mild tart candied cherries, sweet craisin like.

Taste sweetish, a strange peppery flavor like actual poblanos or an earthy pepper, mild cherry sweetness, juicy cherry juice and mineral herbal characters from the stone, mild sweet candy biscuity toffee, wheat creamy, little syrupy like cherry, more tart cherry craisin. Finish sticky little sweet, touch more candied dried cherry, more earthy slight metallic minerals from the stone.

Mouth is med bod, lighter dec carb, touch syrupy creamy feel.

Overall cherry is decent, bit on the sweet side, weird earthy peppery phenolic mineral thing from the stone really makes this weird.
