On tap at the brewpub last night. What a magnificent beer.
A murky dark brown with a thin, light brown head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is dominated by the Cherry Adam, with the bright bourbon notes from the Bourbon Fred playing a supporting role in lightening the Cherry notes. A blend of smoke from the base Adam, light coconut, a little fig and dark caramel from the dopplebock and some sweetness are noticed. The palate opens with a moderately boozy blend of caramel, toffee, bourbon-steeped dark cherries. Moderately sweet, with the blend of caramel and booze being quite delightful. Sweet on the finish, this beer has layers of flavor from Adam and Fred. Medium-full in body, softly carbonated, this beer is delicious. I can't claim to perceive any Blue Dot , Guldenberg, Bigfoot or Noel character, though.

Draft at brewery. Ruddy brown pour with small creamy head. Sweet, sugary aroma, boozy AF. Taste is plums and raisins, woody barrel notes, figs, molasses. Even boozier in the flavor. Elegant

On tap at the brewery. Pours murky dark brown with no head. Nose is toffee, malts, plums, raisins, and a bit of hops. The taste is fantastic. Toffee, chocolate, hops, bread, candy, bourbon, wood, and plums. Amazing

Thank you Kevin for the hookup on this.
Poured into a HOTD tulip, the brew appears brown in color with a khaki head.
Nose is boozy bourbon contrasted by caramel and vanilla sweetness, oak, fruity and strange spiciness almost like cedar.
It tastes boozy like bourbon with accenting caramel and vanilla, some oak and an overall herbal finish.
This is medium in body with modest carbonation. It is boozy and complex yet quite enjoyable.

Not the best beer that I’ve had from HoTD, but it may have contained it!

I can't believe I get to try Jim.
It pours a muddled brown with hazelnut highlights. Ugly and beautiful. Spots of light tan lace the glass despite any noticeable head.
The aroma is magic, and the flavor follows it to a T. Tart cherries, oak, sweet bourbon, toffee, caramel, toast, and more wood! There is so much going on, it's hard to transfer to words.
The feel is as it should be. Slightly syrupy, slightly boozy, and slightly sweet. It's a bit flat, but surprisingly smooth considering it's remarkable bill.
I love Jim, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. It brings wonderful elements of exceptional beers seamlessly and beautifully. It was an honor to try. Cheers!
