2011 on tap at HOTD

A: dark tabacco brown, hazy and deep. nice head with good retention
S: sweet and spicy, dark malts and fruits. subtle hops and maybe some citrus
T: complex with a boozy bite. again, sweet and spicy and heavier on the hops. caramel, candied fruit, and mild tabacco when it warms up.
M: full bodied and perfect carbonation, not flat at all
O: solid american barleywine. a year of aging has done this beer well. I'll be back tomorrow
