Jet black, this is a really harmonious, well-integrated imperial stoutin the classic vein. Bitter dark chocolate, bitter and with dark fruit, mild coffee, along with a mild licorice note. While rich, there's exquisite balance between barrel, bitter base malts and fermentation character. Smooth and full-bodied with a bitter, long lasting finish with chocolate, licorice and warming bourbon. Lovely.
