Purchased at the Queenscliff Brewhouse in June 2024 and drunk in July that year.
L: Cloudy, pear-coloured, light yellow in the glass, with a big, frothy white head. Lots of carbonation can be seen in the glass.
S: The nose is woody, with a touch of lime and funky, yeasty notes.
T: Yeasty and cidery, vinous and peppery, like a saison with a funky aspect. Finishes very sweetly but abruptly.
M: In the mouth, the beer is full and rounded, with minimal carbonation and minimal bit on the swallow.
O: This beer mixes an apple cider barrel-aged beer and a saison. It's a weird combination, but it's certainly drinkable and worth a second look.
Cheers!

sweet tropical fruit predominates on the nose and palate - easy to drink and ideal for Summer. Very pale in appearance with a big tropical fruit taste. Maybe a touch sweet for some but sill highly recommended.

On tap at some Providores shop in North Hobart.
Slight hazey golden colour, fluffy off-white head with nice retention, good lace. Looks good.
Smells pleasant. Lightly hoppy with citrus and touch of passionfruit. Mild vanilla and caramel from malt. Touch of metal. Bit light on fragrance but pleasant.
Taste is also a bit light; more malt would be pleasant. Slightly grainy upfront then touch of some late hopping, bit of citrus and pine, then finishes a bit yeasty. Somewhat bready too, could use more hop bitterness to cut through or more malt just to pad up the body and front palate. Decent but not amazing.
Yeah, feels watery; touch of fizz on the back.
Drinkable but a bit bland sadly. Has potential without fulfilling it.
