Acquired a 4 pack from the brewery.
Pours a hazy opaque fish oil capsule color appearance with a tiny but firm head of 1/2 finger. Nice dome going on in the middle, too.
Aroma is quiet, but has malts, squished orange, grapefruit, and straw. Light bread crusts.
Flavor applies a nice layer of sweetness first - suggestions of honey and maybe citrus; then a tart passion fruit character, followed by a crisp, juicy, bready finish.
Feel is creamy, with a crisp, biting edge.
Overall, while this isn't a well known beer from a well known brewery, I'd say it would stack up with the big hitters in a blind taste test. It's bready, tart, and sweet without being over the top. It's somewhere between a blonde ale and a cream ale. Possibly a Spotted Cow killer. Very solid.
