Muddied orange-brown with a bleach khaki skimming.
Nose of banana bread, caramel, walnuts, and clove.
Begins with generalized graininess that coagulates into banana bread and caramel-globbed nuts. And it stays here for several moments, as the caramel traits become gradually more pronounced. Weizen yeast is present with requisite clove notes, but it's generally on the tame side and doesn't bring much further nuance into the fold. Hopping is negligible, aside from a slaking grassy spice at the close.
Medium bodied with a whipped feel given perk with a subtle, steady carbonation.
Spot-on flawless for the style, and downable in gulps. My only gripe is that it was served too cold, and I couldn't keep my lips off it long enough to savor it at proper temperatures.

The last one I had at Moosejaw, and quite a nice surprise.
A dark, opaque brown brew fills the pint, topped by a nice fluffy tan head that shows a good retention, lacing the glass all the way down.
A very pleasant aroma starts sweetish and caramelized, with clove, banana and nut overtones, and perhaps a yeasty hint in the middle of it all.
Medium bodied, quite easy to drink, with a taste that goes well with the aroma, sweetish but not overly sweet, malted, sugary and caramelized, but it has a yeaty bite to it that balances it nicely.
Their best offering.
