This beer seems to be black, but the dim lighting in the bar may be obscuring my judgement. Creamy dense brown head sits on top and is very well retained. Aroma is of chocolate malt and roasted nuts. NE hops seem to be on the nose as well. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Very nice. The taste is chocolatey, slightly burnt and a little bit bitter as well. A little bit of lactc sourness accentuates nicely. And there's soom good java notes going on as well. Very nice porter.

I don't know the full name of this beer (the brewery was new so it was not on the menu yet), but if you are in Wis. Dells it is a good place to stop. The porter had a nice presentation with a tan head. Dark brown in color with heavy chocolate aroma. There was moderate lacing after the first drink, which had a good roasty flavor. Try it if in the area.
