Got this as part of a Wisconsin Dells Brewery variety pack. 4 different beers 3 of each kind for a total of 12 beers altogether.

The beer poured a crystal clear red/orange color with a 2-finger beige head that lasted about a minute before dissipating. There was no lacing whatsoever.

There is absolutely no smell to this beer. It doesn't smell bad. It's just that there's no smell at all. I stuck my nose into the glass, swirled it around, and still - no aroma. It just smells like air.

The only real flavor here is a mild caramel maltiness.

Light bodied with medium to high carbonation.

There's nothing offensive about this beer, but nothing to rave about either. Goes down easy, but there is a complete lack of complexity.

Thanks to BigHugey for finding bottles of this. Not sure how long they have been bottling.

This is a sweet malty red ale with a lot of caramel but also a lot of butterscotch. Diacetyl almost fits in this flavor profile at first but just for a brief second...then it becomes a detriment. Musty aroma...might be a good red ale if they get the diacetyl under control. Right now what I am tasting I cannot recommend.

Served on-tap in a 5 oz sampler glass.

Appears a dark amber/orange color with a thin white head that leaves little to no lacing.

The nose is full of malts, mostly caramel coming through, and is fairly sweet. The taste has some nice earthy hops, as well as the caramel backbone. Finishes pretty sweet.

The mouthfeel is medium to light bodied with good carbonation levels. Overall, a good brew that is easy to get down and can appeal to drinkers of all kinds. This was the favorite of my girlfriend from the sampler we split, and it was enjoyed by all who tasted it.
