Dark brown pour with a thin skein of tan foam that leaves no lacing. Good aroma of a bustling coffeehouse, roasting beans and coffee, although a bit on the faint side overall. Taste is strong black, French roasted coffee, subtle base of roasted malts, two dimensional but quite nice if like me you enjoy a coffee-forward export stout. Medium to lighter body, low carbonation, could be a bit creamier in feel.
